State police, responding to a report of a report of a motorcycle being driven at approximately 90 mph on I-89 around noon on June 30, subsequently arrested a Randolph teen for careless and negligent driving.
The caller also told dispatch that the operator was weaving in and out of traffic, causing other vehicles to brake and one to swerve into the breakdown lane on I-89 northbound near mile marker 12.
Troopers, who spotted the cycle near mile marker 21, observed similar behavior, police said. The operator, Noah Markwood, 18, was stopped at the bottom of the Exit 3 off-ramp. Markwood was processed at the Royalton barracks and cited to appear in Windsor Superior Court later in July on the careless and negligent charge.
